MTH 245 - Statistics I

3 cr.

Presents an overview of statistics, including descriptive statistics, elementary probability, probability distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing, correlation, and linear regression. Lecture 3 hours per week. Credit will not be awarded for both MTH 155 and MTH 245 or equivalent.

Prerequisite(s): MTE 1-MTE 9 and MTH 154 or MTH 161 or equivalent with a grade of C or better.
