EDU 295 - Topics In Teaching in a Diverse Society

This course will examine how personal and professional values, attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors impact teaching and learning. The pre-service teachers will develop an understanding of similar and unique characteristics of PreK-12 students and their families, including culture, race, ethnicity, native language and learning abilities, gender socializations and sexual orientation.
