Data Visualization and Storytelling with Tableau
Presents visualization techniques and data summarization skills using Tableau to prepare students to communicate the implications of data analysis. Introduces techniques of data cleaning and organization using Tableau. Examines the difference between well-structured and poorly formatted data. Explores the creation of common visualizations best suited for answering questions from a student’s occupational objectives. Prepares students to be successful on the Tableau Desktop Specialist exam.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of MTH 245 with a grade of C or better OR equivalent OR program lead approval. Designed as a math elective course for data science programs.
