Patient Care Technician Career Studies Certificate (221-157-07)

This career studies certificate will enhance the skills of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) by learning advanced patient care tasks and support functions necessary in a variety of medical settings.

Students who already possess a nurse aide certification will be awarded five credits for NUR 27 . Students who already possess CPR certification will be awarded 1 credit for HLT 105 .

Admission Requirement: Students are required to have a background check and a drug screen. Failure to pass either will prevent the students from continuing course. Students must also complete health and physical forms.
