This career studies certificate leads to entry-level employment in the electrical industry and provides foundational knowledge and applied skills in basic electrical concepts, safety, wiring, motors and controls and the National Electrical Code.  Upon completion of the career studies certificate, students are employable as entry-level maintenance workers, electrician’s helpers, and entry-level wiring technicians.
