Program Description/Purpose: This certificate program will offer students the opportunity to pair the program with associate degrees in complementary fields (business, tourism, hospitality, biology, kinesiology, education, social psychology, etc.)

Occupational Outcomes: Outdoor Recreation Guide, Recreation Facility Supervisor, Park maintenance, part-time Park Ranger.

Program Student Learning Outcomes

  1. Students will demonstrate effective communication skills and use recreation professionalism standards during each of their two 32-hour practicum experiences. 

Courses are displayed under the semester in which they are regularly offered and are recommended to be taken in this sequence to ensure timely graduation. It is possible that a course shown in a particular semester may not be offered due to low enrollment or other factors.
