1 For students taking more than one history course, it is strongly recommended that you begin the sequence by taking HIS 111 or HIS 121 prior to HIS 112 or HIS 122 .
2 Students should check with their transferring institution in order to determine the most appropriate course(s) to take at Laurel Ridge Community College. ELECTIVES General Studies All Programs (excluding Liberal Arts Degrees)
3 PSY 200 , PSY 215 and PSY 230 may be needed for those entering Therapeutic Recreation.
4 BIO 141 /BIO 142 may be needed for Therapeutic Recreation. Check with your transfer institution. A one-year sequence of biology, chemistry, geology or physics is recommended. However, depending on the requirements of four-year institutions, two one-semester courses in different sciences may be substituted with advisor approval.
