Program Description: This program can provide a community college career pathway for students seeking health careers requiring a bachelor’s degree or higher. This curriculum requires 20-21 general and specialized courses in the social sciences, the humanities, written and oral communication, health, and science. Students should work closely with an advisor to choose the best transfer degree and ensure credits transfer successfully.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
- Students will critically interpret scientific data in various formats.
- Students will demonstrate proficiency in scientific problem-solving.
- Students will recognize methods of inquiry that lead to scientific knowledge.
- Students will identify scientific principles.
Courses are displayed under the semester in which they are regularly offered and are recommended to be taken in this sequence to ensure timely graduation. It is possible that a course shown in a particular semester may not be offered due to low enrollment or other factors.

Program Total: 60-62 Credits
1 Students should discuss choosing the appropriate course with their advisor.
2 PSY 200 , SOC 200 , or ECO 201 are recommended. The selected course cannot be a history course. Students should discuss choosing the appropriate course with their advisor.
3 Students may enroll in HLT 130 or SUR 100 but may have to take an additional course to meet the minimum 60-credit degree requirement. Students should discuss choosing the appropriate course with their advisor.
