The criminal justice, law enforcement career studies certificate introduces students to the field of criminal justice.
Program Student Learning Objectives:

Demonstrate knowledge of law enforcement administration and operations in relation to the criminal justice system.

Apply ethical principles to situations encountered in law enforcement.

Demonstrate knowledge of patrol procedures, criminal investigation and techniques, basic crime scene response and investigation, and forensic applications to law enforcement.

Demonstrate understanding of substantive law, procedural and evidentiary rules, and constitutional law principles.
