Certificate Curriculum

Fall Semester

SDV 101 - Orientation to IT Professions (Fall Spring Summer) 1 cr.
ITD 110 - Web Page Design I (Fall Only) 3 cr.
ITP 100 - Software Design (Fall Spring Summer) 3 cr.
Programming Elective (Choose ONE course from CSC 221 , CSC 222 ², ITP 150 , or ITP 160 ) 3-4 cr.

Spring Semester

ITP 112 - Visual Basic.NET I (Spring Only) 4 cr. ¹
ITP 120 - Java Programming I (Spring Only) 4 cr. ¹
Programming Elective (Choose ONE course from ITP 270 ¹, CSC 222 ² or approved ITP/CSC programming courses)

Program Total: 21-22 Credits

¹ ITP 100 is the pre-requisite for ITP 112 , ITP 120 , ITP 270 .

² CSC 221 is the pre-requisite for CSC 222 .

Credit for Certification can be awarded for this course: ITP 120 - Java Programming I (Spring Only) .

Course credit will be awarded for certifications issued within 5 years of the formal written request by a student. The formal request must include a statement that the student understands that credit for prior learning credit may not transfer to a 2-year college, 4-year college, or university.
