General Studies - Communications Specialization, AA&S

Designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution to complete a degree in communications or related fields. Students in the communications specialization may wish to major in the following fields: communication, mass media, radio and telecommunications, or speech.

Program Total: 61-63 Credits


1 The following courses may be used as communication electives: ENG 211 , ENG 212 , or any CST course.
A one-year sequence of biology, chemistry, geology or physics is recommended. However, depending on the requirements of four-year institutions, two one-semester courses in different sciences may be    substituted with advisor approval.
