UMS 120 - Drone Imaging for Immersive Media (Spring Only)

Provides an overview of image capture techniques for Immersive and other media using drones and related Uncrewed Autonomous Vehicles (UAVs). Examines planning, collection, and use cases of visual imagery from drones as both a creative artform and a commercially viable skill.

Students will need administrative access to a computer and Meta Quest 3 or new device. If they do not have their own Quest system, they will need to come to the college during open lab hours to use the college’s Quest systems. They may use a Quest simulator for development, if simulator is approved by professor prior to first assignment.
