WEL 120 - Introduction to Welding

Introduces history of welding processes. Covers types of equipment and assembly of units. Stresses welding procedures such as fusion, non-fusion and cutting oxyacetylene. Introduces arc welding. Emphasizes procedures in the use of tools and equipment. Lecture 1-2 hours per week. Laboratory 2-3 hours. Total 3-5 hours per week. **This course is only offered to Dual Enrolled students at Dual Enrollment sites.**
