Designed to introduce students to the many disciplines available within the field while providing a basic foundation to pursue specific areas of interest at a four-year college or university. Upon graduation with a forensic science specialization associate degree students can obtain employment as a forensic science technician or a records officer.

1 Student should check with the institution to which they will be transferring to determine the most appropriate math courses to take. MTH 245 - Statistics I should be taken prior to transferring.

3 It is recommended that students choose from the following forensic electives: ADJ 100 , ADJ 173, ADJ 228 , ADJ 236, ADJ 275 , ADJ 278 , PHY 201 or PHY 202 .
4 See list of approved electives in the catalog. It is recommended that students choose from the following: SOC 200 , PSY 200 , PSY 230 , PSY 255 or ADJ 247.
5 A full year sequence of BIO, CHM or PHY with lab is required.
6 It is recommended that students choose from the following electives: ADJ 228 , ADJ 275 , BIO, CHM or PHY. Students are advised to meet with an academic or faculty advisor for optimum course selection for desired major and transfer institution.
