Program Description Purpose: Designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution to complete a baccalaureate degree program, usually the Bachelor of Arts degree, in the liberal arts or social sciences.
Program Student Learning Outcomes:
- Communicate effectively in oral form.
- Communicate effectively in written form.
- Recognize when information is needed and locate, evaluate, and use information effectively.
- Use empirical evidence and the scientific method to understand natural phenomena.
- Use quantitative reasoning, including numerical and geometric concepts, to draw logical conclusions.
- Please discuss your plan including elective selection with your advisor to ensure it meets your academic goals.
- Students who complete this degree will also complete and be awarded the Uniform Certificate of General Studies .

Foreign Language Sequence (8 cr)
Take 101 and 102 of your Foreign language of choice: ASL, FRE, SPA Electives (11 cr)
Complete at least 11 credits of Approved Transfer electives. Check with your intended transfer school and/or your advisor to aid in course selection. Approved Transfer Electives
Program Total: 60-62 Credits
