Program Description/Purpose: Designed for those who plan to transfer to a college or university to complete a baccalaureate or higher degree program in an engineering discipline such as mechanical, aerospace, electrical, computer, civil, construction, ocean and mining, industrial systems, and materials engineering.

Program Student Learning Outcomes:

  1. Students will identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics.
  2. Students will apply engineering design methods to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration to public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors.
  3. Students will function effectively on a team whose members together provide leadership, create a collaborative and inclusive environment, establish goals, plan tasks, and meet objectives.

 

  • Please discuss your plan including elective selection with your advisor to ensure it meets your academic goals.
  • Students who complete this degree will also complete and be awarded the Uniform Certificate of General Studies

Program Total: 63-70 credits
