Program Description/Purpose: Designed for students who seek full-time employment in management or related occupational fields.
Occupational Outcomes: Upon completion of this degree program, occupational objectives include branch manager, management trainee, small business manager, office manager, or supervisor.
Program Student Learning Outcomes:
- Students will understand the economic, social, and political forces, both domestic and international, that affect the business enterprise.
- Create and use effective oral, written, and visual business communication skills.
- Analyze the legal, ethical, and social implications of business decisions and their impact on various individuals, groups, and societies.
- Critically evaluate the alternatives faced with business decision-making to select the most effective and efficient solution.
- Students will evaluate organizational structures and the functions of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling in a business setting.
Students who complete this degree will also satisfy the requirements for the General Business and Supervision CSCs.
