				The associate of science degree program with a major in Science and a Health Professions specialization is designed for students who are interested in health professions programs who plan to transfer to a health profession such as: dental hygiene, occupational therapy, nursing, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, radiation technology, or other allied health programs. Students should be knowledgeable about the specific requirements of the four-year school to which they wish to transfer so that they make appropriate course choices. |

 1 Students may elect from the following courses to fulfill the computer / information literacy requirement: CSC 200 , ITE 115 , or ITE 119 .2 Students should check with the institution to which they will be transferring to determine the most appropriate math courses to take at LFCC - MTH 245 - Statistics I  should be taken prior to transferring.

 4 One full sequence of science with a lab is required. BIO 141  and BIO 142  are the recommended sequence.
 5 May be BIO, CHM, CSC, EGR, GOL, HIM, MTH, NAS, or PHY
 6 Students should check with the institution to which they will be transferring to determine the most appropriate nutrition course to take at LFCC. HLT 230 - Principles of Nutrition & Human Development  (3 credits) may be required for transfer.
