Program Description/Purpose: The associate of science degree program with a major in Science and a Health Professions specialization is designed for students who are interested in health professions programs who plan to transfer to a health profession such as dental hygiene, occupational therapy, nursing, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, radiation technology, or other allied health programs. Students should be knowledgeable about the specific requirements of the four-year school to which they wish to transfer so that they make appropriate course choices.
