Program Description Purpose: Designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution to complete a baccalaureate degree program, usually the Bachelor of Arts degree, in the liberal arts or social sciences.

Program Student Learning Outcomes

  1. Communicate effectively in oral form.
  2. Communicate effectively in written form.
  3. Use quantitative reasoning, including numerical and geometric concepts, to draw logical conclusions.
  4. Use empirical evidence and the scientific method to understand natural phenomena.
  5. Recognize when information is needed, and locate, evaluate, and use information effectively.
