Program Description/Purpose: Designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution to complete a baccalaureate degree program, usually the Bachelor of Arts degree, in visual arts or related fields that would necessitate a studio art experience.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
- Students will draw from observation with an emphasis on purposeful mark-making.
- Students will create the illusion of a three-dimensional form on a two-dimensional surface through the use of linear perspective and tonal value.
- Students will create a 2D Figure and Ground Unified Design in black and white.
